beIN Sports: streaming application for Connect now available on PlayStation 3 and 4

An application for beIN Sports Connect is now available on PlayStation 4 (as of 9/12/2014) and PlayStation 3 (as of 10/12/2014) game consoles of the Japanese electronics company Sony, announced the French pay-TV group beIN Sports France on 08/12/2014. This announcement was made in time for the sixth and final matchday of the group stage of the 2014-15 Champions League (09 and 10/12/2014), a competition of which Playstation is an official partner, and beIN Sports one of the two official broadcasters France.

The application allows users of Sony consoles to watch, on their TV, large extracts of audiovisual content that beIN Sports holds the rights to, such as the Champions League, the Europa League, Ligue 1, La Liga or even Serie A. With the application, subscribers of beIN Sports Connect, the pay video streaming service on the Internet and mobile devices of the group, can watch live video streams of beIN Sports channels directly on their TV via the broadband Internet connection from their game console.
