Olympique de Marseille: Franckie Tourdre (ex-AS Monaco) named director of communications (press)

Franckie Tourdre has been appointed director of communications at Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), according to L'Équipe on 04/08/2023. His official appointment is expected to take place "within the next ten days."

Franckie Tourdre will succeed Jacques Cardoze, who was appointed on 15/06/2021 and announced that he would "return to journalism" on 29/12/2022. The post has remained vacant ever since.

Previously head of press relations at AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats), a position he has held since November 2022 after serving as press attaché for the Monaco club between July 2020 and October 2022, the Frenchman also came from AS Saint-Étienne (then playing in Ligue 1), where he was in charge of player management and international affairs within the communications department from August 2016 to July 2020.
