2023-24 Premier League: all you need to know regarding UK & international broadcasters

Burnley FC - Manchester City FC, the first match of the 2023-24 Premier League season, scheduled at Turf Moor (21,944 capacity) on Friday 11/08/2023 (kick-off at 20:00 local time, 21:00 CET), will be broadcast in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sport Premier League, channels belonging to the pay-TV group Sky.

The domestic broadcasting rights to the Premier League over the 2022-2025 cycle are held by the British pay-TV operators Sky (128 live matches), TNT Sports (formerly BT Sport, 52 live matches), the American e-commerce group Amazon (20 matches, i.e. two full matchdays on an exclusive basis) and the public broadcasting group BBC (free-to-air highlights). These are the same broadcasters as for the 2019-2022 cycle.

The Premier League's domestic and international broadcasting rights over the 2022-2025 cycle are expected to bring in £5.1bn (€5.92bn) and £5.3bn (€6.14bn) respectively, according to the British daily The Times on 10/02/2022.
