Spain/RFEF: a record of €135m in aid for amateur football in 2023-24

The Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol will pay out a record amount of almost €135m to Spanish football during the 2023-24 season, an all-time high for financial support, according to the RFEF on 03/08/2023.

The Spanish Football Federation is "the federation that distributes the most aid to clubs (€90m in 2023-24), which guarantees the survival and stability of those who need our efforts the most," said Luis Rubiales, its president, from New Zealand, where he is present to support the Spanish team at the Women's World Cup 2023 (winners of the Round of 16 versus Switzerland, Spain will face the Netherlands in the quarter-finals on 11/08/2023).

The main support schemes for amateur clubs in Spain are the €23m "Impulso 27" programme (aimed at clubs in the 4^th and 5^th divisions) and the €10.6m "Cantera con valores" ("Training centre with values", aimed at football schools in 3^rd and 4^th division clubs) programme (funded by UEFA).
