20 teams divided into 4 groups, 48 matches, 50 days of competition, 9 stadiums, 10 host cities, 2.6 million tickets, 35 sponsors... these are the figures that sum up the Rugby World Cup 2023 organised in France, the opening match of which is scheduled in just over a month's time (08/08/2023) with France - New Zealand the Stade de France (80,000 capacity) in Saint-Denis (Paris) on Friday 08/09/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).

This 10^th edition will take place in nine stadiums in nine cities (Saint-Denis, Marseille, Lyon, Lille, Bordeaux, Saint-Étienne, Nantes, Nice and Toulouse), while Paris will not host any matches, but is considered the 10^th "host city" with a "Rugby Village" set up on Place de la Concorde (8^th arrondissement): this fan zone will be operational for 25 days with a maximum daily capacity of 15,000 people, excluding the opening match (39,000 spectators on 08/09/2023).
