LALIGA: a turnover of nearly €2bn (+2.8%) & net profit of €12.1m in 2022-23

LALIGA posted a turnover of nearly €2bn in the financial year 2022-23, up 2.8% (+€55.3m) on 2021-22 (€1.941bn), as well as a net profit of €12.1m (following two deficits in 2020-21 and 2021-22) and equity of €59.1m, announced the body on 08/08/2023 after its annual accounts were unanimously approved by its executive committee and the board of directors of LALIGA Group International (the holding company responsible for developing the LALIGA Impulso strategic project, which brings together the Spanish professional league and the CVC Capital Partners investment fund, which holds an 8.2% stake).

These revenues consist mainly of audiovisual rights (€1.827bn, +2.2%). Revenue from partnerships and licences came to €150.2m, an increase of €18.5m (+14%) "thanks to the acquisition of new sponsors in new sectors and territories, thus consolidating the growth strategy set out years ago, especially in the international sphere," explained LALIGA.
