Golf: Citi (American bank), 7^th partner of the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome (ITA)

Citi, an American bank based in New York, has become a "worldwide partner" of the 2023 Ryder Cup organised at the Marco Simone Golf & Country Club in Rome (Italy) from 29/09 to 01/10/2023, announced Ryder Cup Europe and PGA of America on 08/08/2023. The partnership also covers the 2025 Ryder Cup in New York.

Citi joins the first level of partnerships of the bi-annual international golf competition which pits the 12 best American golfers against the 12 best European golfers. AON (insurance), BMW (car manufacturer), Capgemini (IT services), Hilton (hotels), Rolex (watchmaker) and DP World (logistics) are the other six global partners of the event.

As "official financial services partner", Citi will benefit from signage on the golf course as well as on TV broadcasts, and will offer benefits to Citi bank card holders such as discounts on merchandise. The banking group will also be the "presenting partner of Ryder Cup Radio, allowing spectators at the event to experience every shot of the Ryder Cup."
