Sponsorship: major changes for Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs for the 2023-24 season

With three clubs each under contract, adidas and Puma are the most represented equipment suppliers in the Ligue 1 Uber Eats in 2023-24 (compared with 4/20 clubs for adidas in 2022-23). In total, 11 different brands will appear on the shirts of the 18 clubs in the French championship, one more than in the previous season (10/20 clubs).

Only one change of equipment supplier (the arrival of Le Coq Sportif at OGC Nice, replacing Kappa) and two extensions are to be noted for this new season. The total sum paid by brands to Ligue 1 Uber Eats clubs amounts to €124.5m (out of nine known amounts) in 2023-24. The agreement between Paris Saint-Germain and Nike (€80m/season) alone accounts for 64.2% of the total, while the contract between Olympique de Marseille and Puma (extended for 2023-2028) has been revalued at €20m for the period (compared with €14.7m for 2018-2023).
