Women's World Cup 2023: FIFA payments to quarter-finalist associations & players

Each of the eight FIFA member associations whose team has qualified for the quarter-finals of the Women's World Cup 2023 is guaranteed to receive a minimum of $2.18m (€1.99m as at 09/08/2023), according to the prize money scale presented by the International Federation ahead of the competition on 08/06/2023.

This includes the RFEF (Spain), the KNVB (Netherlands), the JFA (Japan), the SvFF (Sweden), Football Australia (Australia), the FFF (France), The FA (England) and the FCF (Colombia).

The 16 associations whose teams were eliminated in the group stage will each receive $1.56m (€1.42m), while the eight teams eliminated in the Round of 16 will each receive $1.87m (€1.7m).

At the same time, FIFA will pay sums directly to the players, also on the basis of their sporting achievements. Each player will receive $90,000 (€82,000) if they are eliminated in the quarter-finals, and between $165,000 and $270,000 (€150,000 and 246,000) if they qualify, depending on the team's performance in the rest of the competition.
