Panathinaikos FC (Super League Greece) - Olympique de Marseille (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) (1-0), the first leg of the third qualifying round for the 2023-24 Champions League, drew an average of 1.51 million viewers, with a peak of 1.9 million on the French free DTT channel W9 (M6 group), on Wednesday 09/08/2023 (kick-off at 20:00 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute Médiamétrie communicated by the free-TV group.

This figure represents an audience share of 9.1% (20% among men under 50 and 14% among people under 50). This is "an audience record in 2023 for W9 and a five-year record for an evening match across all target audiences," according to the group.

The second leg will take place at the Orange Vélodrome (Marseille, FRA) on Tuesday 15/08/2023 (kick-off at 21:00 CET).
