RC Lens (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) is set to raise nearly €20m by acquiring a 10% stake in its capital from a regional investment fund, according to the French daily newspapers La Voix du Nord and L'Equipe on 09/08/2023.

The fund is known as the Fonds Entrepreneurial Territorial de Transformation (FE2T) and includes the AFM (Association Familiale Mulliez), owner of the Auchan group (retail) and the club's main shirt sponsor until 2026-27, Octave Klaba, founder and president of OVH (servers and telecommunications) based in Roubaix (Nord), and the Hauts-de-France Region through the Institut Régional de Développement (IRD).

Frenchman Joseph Oughourlian, president of the club and until now its sole owner via his Luxembourg company Solferino, would therefore remain the majority shareholder. The capital increase, which could take place by the end of August 2023, would value the northern club at around €200m.
