LALIGA EA Sports: all you need to know about the 20 clubs participating in the 2023-24 season

FC Barcelona, 2022-23 Spanish champions, will be battling to retain their title when the 2023-24 LALIGA EA Sports season kicks off on Friday 11/08/2023.

The Catalan club will be hoping to retain its title against ambitious opponents, starting with Real Madrid CF, winners of the 2023 Copa del Rey. Club Atlético de Madrid and Real Sociedad will accompany the two clubs into the Champions League group stage, as will Sevilla FC, winners of the 2022-23 Europa League. Villarreal CF and Real Betis Balompié have already qualified for the group stage of this competition, while Club Atletico Osasuna are hoping to reach the group stage of the Europa Conference League (play-offs on 24 and 31/08/2023 versus the winner of the preliminary round between Belgian side Club Brugge and Iceland's KA Akureyri).
