ESTAC: CEO Aymeric Magne's contract terminated, Mattijs Manders (City Football Group) replaces him

The contract of Aymeric Magne, CEO of Espérance Sportive Troyes Aube Champagne (relegated to the Ligue 2 BKT at the end of the 2022-23 season) since May 2021, has been terminated, announced the club after a meeting of its board of directors on 11/08/2023.

As a result, Dutchman Mattijs Manders, chief executive of NAC Breda (Dutch 2^nd division) from June 2020 to August 2022 and of ADO The Hague (then in the Eredivisie) from April 2016 to June 2019, has been appointed as the club's CEO with immediate effect.

"Mattijs Manders has held a similar position for City Football Group in China for the past five months. He will work alongside Sarah Palluel (deputy CEO), the ESTAC management team and City Football Group to ensure that the club continues to operate with its usual efficiency. With a commercial and financial background within the sports industry, he benefits from over twenty years' experience in strategy, execution and leadership," added the Champagne (FRA) club about the man who was also CEO of the Eredivisie from June 2019 to June 2020.
