2023-24 Serie A Femminile eBay: Rai acquires free-to-air rights, pay-TV rights not yet awarded

The public broadcasting group Rai has acquired the free-to-air broadcasting rights in Italy to one game per Serie A Femminile eBay matchday as well as the Women's Coppa Italia and Supercoppa Italiana finals for the 2023-24 season, announced the Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC) on 10/08/2023.

According to the Italian media, Rai has acquired these rights for a sum approaching €300,000. Pay-TV broadcasting rights in Italy have not yet been awarded, as the tender for this lot has been extended until 31/08/2023. S&T Sports, a marketing agency based in Miami (USA), has acquired the international media rights for these competitions over the same period, for an estimated sum in excess of €200,000.

Telecoms operator TIM (Telecom Italia) and media group Cairo communication held the Italian broadcasting rights for the eBay Serie A Femminile, the Women's Coppa Italia and the Women's Supercoppa Italiana for the 2021-2023 cycle.
