France will face Australia, joint-hosts of the Women's World Cup 2023, in the quarter-finals of the competition at Brisbane Stadium (Brisbane, Australia) on Saturday 11/08/2023 (kick-off at 17:00 local time, 09:00 CET).

The Fédération Française de Football (FFF) posted revenues of €274.2m in 2021-22 and had 2.17 million licensees, including 220,352 women (around 10%), while Football Australia generated revenues of AU$88.67m (€52.6m as at 11/08/2023) in 2022 and had 547,751 licensees, including 130,251 women (24%) in 2021. Nike is the equipment supplier for both federations.

As a result of their national teams reaching the quarter-finals, the FFF and Football Australia are each guaranteed to receive a minimum of $2.18m (€1.99m as of 09/08/2023), according to the prize money scale presented by FIFA ahead of the competition on 08/06/2023. The French and Australian players will each receive a minimum of $90,000 (€82,000). These sums will obviously increase for the team that reaches the semi-finals.
