FIFA: the second Women's Football Convention to be organised in Sydney (AUS) on 18 & 19/08/2023

FIFA will hold its second Women's Football Convention at the International Convention Centre in Sydney (Australia) on 18 and 19/08/2023, announced the body on 12/08/2023.

The aim of this event will be "to capitalise on the excitement and momentum generated by the greatest-ever FIFA Women’s World Cup," explained the body regarding the Women's World Cup 2023 currently underway in Australia and New Zealand. The first FIFA Women's Football Convention was held on 06 and 07/06/2019 in Paris (FRA), just before the beginning of the Women's World Cup 2019.

To discuss the five pillars of the FIFA Strategy for Women's Football (develop and grow, showcase the game, communicate and commercialise, govern and lead, and educate and empower), the following are expected to attend: football leaders, coaches, former players, as well as representatives from the private sector and civil society.
