Spain: launch of "LALIGA VS Racismo" a platform to fight against racism

LALIGA has launched the participative platform "LALIGA VS Racismo" which is "aimed at education, prevention and taking firm action against racist attitudes and behaviours," announced the Spanish league on 11/08/2023.

Designed to bring together all the initiatives taken by the Spanish league and its clubs to combat violence and intolerance in order to promote and share them, this new platform is intended to be participative, with direct access to the reporting channel set up so that anyone can report any violent or discriminatory act they encounter inside a stadium and/or in its surroundings.

"LALIGA VS Racismo will help us advance our fight against racism and intolerance in football. For years, we have been condemning racist incidents. From this season we now look forward to addressing the problem more globally, with greater involvement from clubs, fans, LALIGA's partners and, we hope, key Spanish institutions," said Javier Tebas, president of LALIGA.
