2023-24 Bundesliga: all you need to know regarding German & international broadcasters

SV Werder Bremen - FC Bayern Munich, the first match of the 2023-24 Bundesliga season, is scheduled to take place at the Weserstadion (42,100 capacity) in Bremen (GER) on Friday 18/08/2023 (kick-off at 20:30 CET) and will be broadcast in Germany on the free-TV channel SAT.1 belonging to the free and pay-TV group ProSiebenSat.1, as well as on the OTT platform DAZN. The other eight matches, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20/08/2023, will be broadcast by DAZN (two matches) and the channels of the pay-TV group Sky Deutschland (six matches).

The domestic broadcasting rights for the Bundesliga, 2.Bundesliga and DFL-Supercup for the 2021-2025 season were awarded for a total of €1.1bn per season on 22/06/2020. This invitation to tender for the DFL rights for Germany, launched on 16/03/2020, included Austria, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg and South Tyrol (an Italian province with a German-speaking majority) for the first time.
