DAZN has acquired ata football, a US streaming service dedicated to women's football, announced the OTT platform on 15/08/2023. ata football was owned by start-up Atalanta Media, founded in September 2020 by former Puerto Rican football player Esmeralda Negron and American TV columnist Hannah Brown, and had US firm 777 Partners as its lead investor.

"Bringing ata football into the DAZN family will significantly increase the visibility, growth and development of DAZN’s status as the 'Home of Women's Football'. The founders have built a trusted and far-reaching network across the women’s football ecosystem from the professional game to the grassroots. Working with all the critical stakeholders in the growth of women’s football they are laying the foundations for exponential growth in the sport in terms of visibility, value and viability," explained DAZN.

ata football holds the rights to the Women's Champions League (in the USA), D1 Arkema (USA, UK, Italy and Germany), Serie A Femminile eBay (USA, UK, Canada and Germany) and Google Pixel Frauen-Bundesliga (USA, UK, Italy and Canada)…
