Premier League: 6686 Sport (betting), sleeve sponsor of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC for 2023-24

Hong Kong sports betting operator 6686 Sport has become a sleeve sponsor of Wolverhampton Wanderers FC (Premier League) for the 2023-24 season, announced the English club on 14/08/2023.

"This deal represents the biggest sleeve sponsorship in the club's history and also demonstrates the growing strength of the Wolves brand in Asia and our ability to secure exciting new commercial partners in the region," said Russell Jones, general manager for marketing and commercial growth at Wolverhampton Wanderers FC, which posted £13.1m (€15.1m on 30/06/2022) in sponsorship revenue in 2021-22. Wolves have been owned by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International since 2016.

Since their promotion to the Premier League in 2018-19, Wolverhampton Wanderers FC has displayed five different sleeve sponsors in six seasons, including two Asian bookmakers in succession (12Bet in 2022-23 and now 6686 Sport) and two cryptocurrency platforms (Bitci.com, Turkey, in 2021-22 and CoinDeal, Poland, in the 2018-2020 cycle).
