Bayer 04 Leverkusen: Barmenia (insurance) extends as main shirt sponsor (2024-2028)

Barmenia, a German insurance company, has extended as a partner and main shirt sponsor of Bayer 04 Leverkusen (Bundesliga) for an additional four seasons (2024-2028) "in advance," announced the club on 19/08/2023.

The agreement between the German company and Bayer Leverkusen initially ran until the end of the 2023-24 season, and has been in force since 2016-17. Barmenia pays €6m per season to the German club.

As part of the renewal, which extends the agreement to 12 seasons, the insurance company also acquires the naming rights to Bayer's performance centre, which houses its women's and youth teams, and will continue to benefit from visibility on signage at the BayArena (Leverkusen, GER) as well as on the club's physical and digital media channels.
