MLS: adidas presents "Nativo", official ball of the 2015 season

The German sports equipment supplier adidas unveiled "Nativo", the official ball of MLS (Major League Soccer, USA-CAN) for the 2015 season, on 08/12/2014.

The ball was designed with six materials identical to those used for the "Brazuca" ball of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Its design incorporates, in particular, symbols of the United States (the star) and Canada (the maple leaf). adidas is the official equipment and kit supplier (to all franchises) of MLS. This collective agreement provides the North American league an estimated annual amount of €18m until 2018.

  • "Entering the league’s 20th season, we’re excited to bring our most advanced ball ever to the soccer pitch so we can help players perform at their best," said Ernesto Bruce, director of soccer at adidas America.
