Newcastle United FC: adidas to succeed Castore as equipment supplier from 2024-25 (press)

adidas is to become the equipment supplier of Newcastle United FC (Premier League) from the 2024-25 season, according to British press reports on 19/08/2023. The signing of the contract between the English club and the German brand was revealed via footage from the documentary series "We Are Newcastle United" broadcast on Amazon Prime, before the episodes concerned were withdrawn from the VoD platform, and is expected to be made official on 01/09/2023, according to messages published by both parties on X (formerly Twitter).

adidas looks set to succeed British equipment manufacturer Castore ahead of schedule, as the latter has been committed to Newcastle since the 2021-22 season as part of an agreement running until the end of 2027-28 and valued at €8m per year. The German brand previously supplied club's kit from 1995 to 2010, before being replaced by Puma (2010-2021) and then Castore.
