Women's World Cup 2023: prize money paid by FIFA to participating federations & players

Spain's 1-0 victory over England in the final of the Women's World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand will earn the Real Federacion Espanola de Futbol (RFEF) $4.29m (€3.94m) from FIFA, in addition to a prize money of $270,000 (€248,000) for each of the 23 players selected, according to the prize money scale presented by the International Federation ahead of the competition on 08/06/2023.

The total sum to be shared by the federations/associations and players of the 32 teams that took part in the Women's World Cup 2023 is $152m (€140m). Of this sum, $110m will be paid out as prize money, compared with $15m for the Women's World Cup 2015 in Canada and $50m for the Women's World Cup 2019 in France, both of which involved 24 teams. A further $11.3m will be redistributed to clubs that have released players for the competition, and $30.7m to member associations for their preparations.

The Football Association will receive $3.015m (€2.77m) thanks to England's second-place finish, with each of their player representatives also receiving $195,000 (€179,000).
