Borussia Dortmund: revenues of €515.4m (+12.8%) & a net profit of €9.6m in 2022-23

Borussia Dortmund (Bundesliga) posted revenues (including transfers) of €515.4m for the 2022-23 financial year (from 01/07/2022 to 30/06/2023), up 12.8% on 2021-22 (€456.9m), announced the club on 21/08/2023. BVB posted a turnover excluding transfers of €418.2m (compared with €351.6m at 30/06/2022).

The German club has returned to a positive net result, recording a profit of €9.6m, compared with a net loss of €35.1m at the end of the 2021-22 financial year. "The core message conveyed by the management at the annual press conference for the figures for the 2022-23 financial year is: Borussia Dortmund has successfully overcome the consequences of the pandemic, is growing again, is in the black and is working on being able to propose a dividend distribution to the supervisory board again next year for the 2023-24 financial year," said the club. The wage bill, meanwhile, has risen by €5m to €236.2m (compared with €231.2m in 2021-22).
