UEFA: Deutsche Telekom (telecommunications, GER), third national partner of Euro 2024

Deutsche Telekom, a German telecommunications operator, has become a national partner (2^nd level) of Euro 2024 (to be held in Germany from 14/06 to 14/07/2024), according to UEFA on 22/08/2023.

This agreement is part of a "in an unprecedented three pillar approach", under which Deutsche Telekom will have the status of national partner, official telecommunications service provider for the competition, and media rights and broadcast partner. In particular, the German operator will be responsible for recruiting flag bearers for all the matches in the competition, for "networking at the 10 host venues, the 24 team base camps and training bases, as well as all official fan zones in the host cities" and will hold exclusive broadcasting rights in Germany for "four group stage matches and one round of 16 match" for its OTT platform MagentaTV.

This is the competition's third national partner, after the German public railway company Deutsche Bahn (agreement signed on 13/06/2023) and German insurance company Ergo (on 12/06/2023). It also has six global partners (1^st level): Lidl…
