Real Betis Balompié: launch of a 358-seat "solidarity stand" for home matches

Real Betis Balompié (LaLiga EA Sports) and its Foundation have launched a 358-seat "solidarity stand" for the club's home matches at the Stadio Benito Villamarín (60,721 capacity), announced the Spanish club on 22/08/2023.

The seats in this stand will be allocated to "social groups, NGOs, charities or institutions that work for social integration, the fight against climate change, children, health or education in our community," explained the club. "This action is aimed at bringing football closer to entities committed to social causes thus fighting against social exclusion and offering leisure alternatives to groups, expanding the values linked to sport to promote a more inclusive society."

The stand already welcomed 320 people from seven different charities during Real Betis' 0-0 draw with Club Atlético de Madrid on Matchday 1 of the 2023-24 LaLiga EA Sports season on Sunday 20/08/2023.
