RCD Mallorca: NBA coach Steve Kerr among a group of investors led by Andy Kohlberg

American Steve Kerr, head coach of the United States men's basketball team and coach of the Golden State Warriors in the NBA, was among a group of investors led by his compatriot Andy Kohlberg "following a shareholder restructuring" on 01/07/2023, announced RCD Mallorca (LaLiga EA Sports) on 22/08/2023.

On this occasion, Andy Kohlberg, also vice-president of the Phoenix Suns (NBA) and already president of the RCD Mallorca, became the club's majority shareholder. The group of shareholders led by Andy Kohlberg bought out the shares of Robert Sarver, who had previously been the majority shareholder. The former owner of the Phoenix Suns (NBA) and the Phoenix Mercury (WNBA) had already sold his two basketball franchises in December 2022.
