Chelsea FC: a race in the stands at Stamford Bridge to raise awareness about mental health

With its Foundation and in collaboration with the charity Mind, Chelsea FC (Premier League) is staging a race in the stands at Stamford Bridge (London, ENG) on 07/10/2023 to raise awareness of mental health, announced the club on 23/08/2023.

Participants will see "how many circuits of Stamford Bridge and the West Stand they can complete in 90 minutes. Each lap is approximately one kilometre with an elevation of 200 feet. The exclusive experience will also allow participants to go behind the scenes at Stamford Bridge, visiting the changing rooms, press room and other areas of the home of Chelsea FC before walking out of the famous tunnel area," explained the London club.

The event, which is being held in conjunction with World Mental Health Day (10/10/2023), includes a fundraising event: participants, who will pay £50 (€58) to register, will each aim to raise £300 (€351). The total sum will be donated to Mind, to help fund its telephone hotline and online support.
