Bundesliga: SV Darmstadt's website "the most environmentally friendly" (study)

• SV Darmstadt 98's website is "the most environmentally friendly and the one that generates the least CO2 emissions" of all the clubs in the 2023-24 Bundesliga.
• The website of the club promoted to the Bundesliga at the end of the 2022-23 season generates 0.46g of CO2 emissions per page viewed, ahead of RB Leipzig (0.48g) and Eintracht Frankfurt (0.54g).
• By contrast, the three lowest-ranked websites are those of VfL Wolfsburg (2.62g), SC Freiburg (3.26g) and TSG 1899 Hoffenheim (4.31g).
• With the annual energy consumed by the home pages of the 18 Bundesliga clubs, an electric vehicle could circle the Earth 337 times.
