Bundesliga: Visit Rwanda (tourism), platinum partner of Bayern Munich for 5 seasons (2023-2028)

Rwanda Development Board, the Rwandan agency for international investments, through its tourism brand "Visit Rwanda", has become a platinum partner (2^nd level) of FC Bayern Munich (Bundesliga) for five seasons (2023-2028), announced the club on 27/08/2023.

As part of the agreement, Bayern will contribute its expertise for the development of football facilities for young boys and girls in Rwanda and will support the 'Visit Rwanda' tourism campaign. In particular, the two parties will be working to set up an academy in Rwanda, while a team from the country is expected to take part in the FC Bayern Youth Cup, an international youth competition organised by the German club. The "Visit Rwanda" campaign will also be displayed on signage at the Allianz Arena (Munich, GER).

This is the third sponsorship agreement signed by the body with a football club from the European Top 5, after featuring on the sleeves of Arsenal FC (Premier League, 2018-2025, £10m/season) as well as on the training shirts of Paris Saint-Germain (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) and on the sleeve of the women's team (D1 Arkema) kits…
