FC Barcelona: a Barça Legends match in Kyrgyzstan to celebrate the inauguration of two academies

Barça Legends, a team of former FC Barcelona players (LaLiga EA Sports), will play a friendly versus the "Asia Legends", a selection of former Asian footballers, at the Dolon Omurzakov Stadium in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) on Wednesday 30/08/2023 (kick-off at 16:00 CET), announced the Catalan club on 26/08/2023.

The match takes place at a time when Joan Laporta, the club's president, will be inaugurating the first of two academies to be opened in the country in Jalal-Abad on 29 August, in the company of Sadyr Japarov, the president of the Kyrgyz Republic. He will also attend the laying of the foundation stone for the academy due to open in the capital Bishkek in 2024.

FC Barcelona has signed a collaboration agreement with the "football and sports culture promotion company Jalgroup Asia, with the aim of developing a project called 'Barça Experience' in Kyrgyzstan. The project, a multi-year agreement, will involve using some of the Barça brand assets in the country.
