ECA: €1m distributed to 30 projects from 24 clubs by the Ukraine Relief Fund

A total of 30 projects from 24 clubs have benefited from the €1m distributed by the ECA, via its Ukraine Relief Fund set up in March 2022 following Russia's invasion of the country, announced the European Club Association on 29/08/2023.

"After 15 months making a difference to the lives of refugees across Europe, ECA's €1m Ukraine Relief Fund has delivered on its last round of projects," said the body. This fund, which is dedicated to supporting clubs' efforts to help Ukrainian refugees, has granted funding of between €25,000 and €50,000 per project according to the European Club Association, which joined forces with the UEFA Children's Foundation for the occasion.

The main focuses of the projects supported by the ECA are:
