France 2023: launch of the first fantasy league dedicated to a Rugby World Cup

World Rugby has launched "RWC 2023 Fantasy" ahead of the 2023 World Cup (played from 08/09 to 28/10/2023), the first fantasy league dedicated to a Rugby World Cup, on 30/08/2023.

This fantasy league, available in French and English, is accessible free of charge via a dedicated website and World Rugby's RWC 2023 application. "The RWC 2023 Fantasy game has been meticulously crafted to provide an enhanced user experience, offering rugby enthusiasts and new fans to the game the opportunity to actively participate in the Rugby World Cup festivities," explained the governing body.

Users can join public world leagues and create private leagues. Each user has 100 credits available within the game to build their own team by choosing from players participating in the 2023 World Cup, taking part in virtual auctions and making transfers.
