African Football League: a new competition featuring eight clubs from 20/10 to 11/11/2023

The inaugural edition of the African Football League (AFL), CAF's new club competition organised in partnership with FIFA, will kick off on 20/10/2023, announced the Confederation of African Football on 29/08/2023.

This first edition will bring together "8 of Africa's most famous and successful teams from the 3 African Regional Blocks which are: the North Region, the Central-West Region and the South-East Region" in a two-legged knockout phase (home and away) starting from the quarter-finals. The competition will begin on 20/10/2023 with the opening ceremony and first match in Dar-es-Salaam (Tanzania) and will end with the first and second leg of the final on 05 and 11/11/2023.
