Champions League: FC Barcelona - Paris SG watched by over 3 million viewers in France and Spain

The FC Barcelona - Paris Saint-Germain fixture (3-1, Group F) on 10/12/2014, the sixth and final day of the group stage of the 2014-15 Champions League, allowed the pay-TV channel Canal+, the exclusive broadcaster of the match in France, to draw an average 2.21 million viewers during the match, according to French TV rating measurement agency Médiamétrie. This represents a 37.3% share of the channel's subscribers (percentage of subscribers to Canal+ who watched the match).

In Spain, the match was broadcast live on the pay-TV channel Canal+ Liga de Campeones, and watched by 874,000 viewers on average, for a subscriber share of 4.8%, according to the Spanish Formula TV website. This is the best performance in the Spanish market for pay-TV for the first part of the evening of 10/12/2014, and the 6th best performance across all channels for that time slot.

This makes for a combined average TV audience of 3,084,000 viewers in the two countries.
