UEFA: prize money for European Cup participants in 2023-24

For the final year of its 2021-2024 cycle, UEFA will distribute a total of €2.732bn to clubs participating in the three European Cups in the 2023-24 season.

This sum will be distributed as follows:
• €2.032 billion (74.4%) will go to clubs qualified for the Champions League (including €30 million for those involved in the play-offs);
• €465m (17%) to those playing in the Europa League;
• €235m (8.6%) to clubs competing in the Europa Conférence Ligue.

The draw for the Champions League groups will take place on Thursday 31/08 (from 18:00 CET) at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco, while the draws for the Europa League and Europa Conference Ligue groups will take place at the same venue on Friday 01/09/2023 (at 13:00 and 14:30 respectively).

In addition, the European Confederation has undertaken to redistribute a minimum of €24m to clubs for the 2023-24 edition of the Women's Champions League.
