Nicolas Holveck, who joined Stade Rennais FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) in March 2020 as executive president - CEO, is leaving the club today, announced the French club on 31/08/2023.

In May 2022, the former deputy CEO of AS Monaco FC (Ligue 1 Uber Eats) stepped down temporarily to devote himself to cancer treatment that he himself had announced would take place in March 2021. He was then replaced by Olivier Cloarec, who is now continuing his mission as executive president.

"On behalf of the club, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Nicolas for his dedication and professionalism, as well as for his exemplary courage in the face of illness," said Francois Henri Pinault, owner of the Breton club.

Nicolas Holveck may join AS Nancy-Lorraine (National 1), where he worked from 1997 to 2014, and succeed Sébastien Janodet as president, according to local media.
