Premier League: Uphold (Web3), sleeve sponsor of promoted side Burnley FC for the 2023-24 season

Uphold, a Web3 financial services platform, has become the sleeve sponsor of Burnley FC (Premier League) for the 2023-24 season, announced the club on 31/08/2023.

The platform has the status of principal partner, the highest level in the British club's sponsorship hierarchy, alongside its main shirt sponsor, the sports betting operator W88 (€9.3m for the 2023-24 season). Burnley FC did not display a sleeve sponsor in 2022-23, when it played in the Sky Bet Championship.

In addition to appearing on the sleeves of the club's shirts, Uphold's logo will be "displayed on LED signage across Turf Moor (Burnley, ENG)." As part of the agreement, the platform has also become an official partner (2^nd level) of Burnley's women's team (Barclays Women's Super League), which already has a sleeve sponsor of its own: the Chinese social network TikTok, since the 2021-22 season.
