FIFA Foundation: applications open to NGOs for the Community Programme 2024

"The application period for the 2024 edition of the FIFA Foundation Community Programme is now open and runs until 15/09/2023," announced the global body on 01/09/2023.

"This programme works with local projects around the world that use the power of football to effect positive social change and to address the most pressing global challenges facing underprivileged children and young people within the communities in which they operate," said FIFA.

"In 2023, 114 non-governmental organisations (NGOs) were accepted onto the programme (document available to download), which enables each applicant to apply for funding of up to $30,000 to help support football-related projects and initiatives within the communities in which they run. As the 2024 application process begins, Mauricio Macri, executive chairman of the FIFA Foundation, has called on even more organisations to apply for this unique opportunity," added the body.
