"Following a groundbreaking agreement between the Iranian (FFIRI) and Saudi (SAFF) Football Federations, all matches between the national teams and clubs of Iran and Saudi Arabia will take place on a home-and-away basis," announced the Asian Football Confederation in Kuala Lumpur (MAS) on 04/09/2023.
