LFP/2024-2028 TV rights tender: two lots of 3 and 6 matches, deadline for bids on 17/10/2023 (press)

The call for tenders for the Ligue 1 Uber Eats broadcasting rights from the 2024-25 season, which will be launched by the Ligue de Football Professionnel on 12/09/2023, is expected to include only two lots, according to the French daily L'Équipe on 06/09/2023.

A "premium" lot will reportedly include three key fixtures on each matchday, while the second one is set to include the other six games, according to L'Équipe. The digital rights package currently held by the French telecommunication operator Free will not be on offer again, which would allow the broadcaster holding the premium package to benefit from the rights to broadcast match highlights near-live. The bid submission deadline is Tuesday 17/10/2023, according to the daily.

The LFP is seeking to secure €863.7m per year for the domestic TV rights to Ligue 1 Uber Eats from the 2024-25 season, and €200m per year year for the international rights, for a total annual amount of €1.063bn.
