The free DTT channel La chaine L'Équipe has acquired the broadcasting rights to all matches of France's U21 national team over the 2023-2025 cycle (two seasons), announced the French Football Federation (FFF) on 06/09/2023.

These rights include friendlies and qualifiers for the 2025 U21 Euro. The France - Denmark friendly will be the first match to be broadcast on La chaine L'Equipe for the team, which is now managed by the 1998 world champion Thierry Henry, on Thursday 07/09/2023 (kick-off at 18:30 CET).

The FFF had initially launched a consultation for the broadcasting rights in France for the French U21 team over the 2023-2027 cycle, on 30/05/2023. The call for tenders, which was ultimately unsuccessful, led to a private negotiation phase. The pay-TV and free-TV group Canal+ held the broadcasting rights for the French U21 team in France over the 2018-2023 cycle.
