Premier League: Manchester City FC to open two football schools in Australia in 2024

Manchester City FC (Premier League) is to open two new football schools in Australia, at the Waverley College and the St Dominic's College (both located near Sydney) in 2024, announced the club on 05/09/2023.

"Utilising the coaching philosophy and methodology of the club, the Manchester City Football Schools will provide authentic and creative football coaching programs year-round for Waverley College and St Dominic’s students,” said the 2022-23 Premier League champions. St Dominic's College year 7 students (aged 12-13) and Waverley College's years 7 and 9 students (aged 12-15) will be able to participate in trials "in October 2023" to join the programme. Each school will offer more than “75 places” in the first year of the programme.

The 2022-23 Champions League winners have already opened their first football school in Australia at the Parade College's Bundoora Campus in Melbourne in January 2022, before launching another at the College's South Brisbane Campus in Brisbane in January 2023 and a third at the Rostrevor College, a Catholic school for boys located in Adelaide, also in…
