Germany - Serbia (83-77), the final of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 (in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines from 25/08 to 10/09/2023), drew an average of 4.63 million viewers on the German public TV channel ZDF on Sunday 10/09/2023 (game start at 14:40 CET), according to data from the audience measurement institute AGF.

This figure represented an audience share of 35% and ranked the channel third in the German audiovisual market for the day on 10/09/2023. The game was also broadcast on the OTT platform Magenta Sport (Deutsche Telekom), whose audience figures were not communicated.

This is the first time that Germany has won the Men's Basketball World Cup.
