Denmark: Carlsberg extends contract as shirt sponsor of FC Copenhagen until 2020-21

The Danish brewer Carlsberg extended its contact as shirt sponsor of FC Copenhagen (Superliga, Denmark) until the end of the 2020-21 season, the club announced on 12/12/2014.

Carlsberg, whose headquarters is based in Copenhagen, has been linked with the club since 1999. "We are very pleased to partner with the Carlsberg brand, and proud that this contract shows that Carlsberg believes in us and the business opportunities afforded by FC Copenhagen. We have a long history," said Anders Horsholt, the president of FC Copenhagen.

Carlsberg Seats operation

• Carlsberg offers prizes that "money can not buy", such as the Carlsberg Seats operation, which offers premium seats for fans drawn among amongst all spectateurs at the stadium during matches of the 2014-15 Europa League.
  • FC Copenhagen has been eliminated from the Europa League 2014-15. The club finished bottom of Group B.
