FIFA: World Cups in 2018 and 2022 on the agenda of the Executive Committee on 18 and 19/12/2014

Preparations for the 2018 World Cup in Russia and 2022 edition in Qatar, led by Jérôme Valcke, the secretary general of FIFA (Fédération Internationale de Football Association), are included in the agenda of the FIFA Executive Meeting in Marrakech (MAR), on the sidelines of the Club World Cup (Morocco, from 10 to 20/12/2014) on 18 and 19/12/2014.

Mohamed Raouraoua (ALG), chairman of the organising committee of the Club World Cup, will report on the 2014 edition before the final of this competition (on 20/12/2014).

Other items on the agenda are the preparations for the 2015 Women's World Cup (Canada, 06/06 to 05/07/2015), the approval of the international calendar from 2016 to 2020 for futsal matches, as well as the minutes of the work of the various committees of FIFA, notably the Players' Status Committee about the approval of amendments that affect the FIFA Regulations on the Status and Transfer of Players.

• The first meeting in 2015 of the FIFA Executive Committee is scheduled for 19 and 20/03/2015 in Zurich (SUI).
