D1 Arkema: DAZN broadcaster in France & several international markets from 2023-24

DAZN has acquired the rights to broadcast two D1 Arkema games per matchday in France from 2023-24, announced the OTT sports platform on 14/09/2023. It will co-broadcast these matches with pay and free-TV group Canal+.

DAZN has also acquired the rights to broadcast the D1 Arkema in several international markets from the FFF: USA, UK, Germany, Austria and Spain. "Off the back of DAZN's successful launch in France, this agreement broadens its consumer offer in market, and underlines DAZN's commitment to invest in and promote women's football," explained the British platform. The 2023-24 D1 Arkema season kicks off this Friday, 15/09/2023.

This new agreement comes following DAZN's partnership with Canal+ on 12/08/2023. The French group has launched a new OTT channel called "Canal+ Ligue 1" on DAZN, which in turn is accessible from the myCanal platform and on channel 19 of Canal+ set-top boxes via the Sport+, Canal+ Sport, Friends & Family, Intégrale and Intégrale+ packages.
