"Changing arenas will be a huge improvement for Paris Basketball (Betclic Élite). The next two seasons (2024-2026) will be especially important for the club. It's been decades since a sports arena was built in Paris. The former president of the Minnesota Timberwolves NBA franchise is preparing for his club's arrival at the adidas Arena (8,500 capacity), a new stadium at Porte de la Chapelle (Paris, 18^th arrondissement) scheduled for delivery in early 2024. While Paris Basketball will be the sole resident of this new stadium built in preparation for the Paris 2024 Games, it is owned by the City of Paris and operated by SAE POPB, which is also responsible for running the Accor Arena (Paris, FRA) and the Bataclan (music venue in Paris).
