Everton FC: 777 Partners (USA) to acquire Farhad Moshiri's shares, i.e. 94.1% of the English club

"777 Partners has signed an agreement with Farhad Moshiri to acquire his full stake in Everton FC (Premier League), which accounts for 94.1% of the club's shares," announced the Merseyside club on 15/09/2023. The Iranian-British businessman became a shareholder of the club in 2016 before becoming a majority shareholder (68.6%) in September 2018.

The American investment company, founded in 2015 and based in Miami (Florida), is already a shareholder in several football clubs in Europe, Brazil and Australia. In particular, it acquired a 64.7% stake in Hertha BSC (2.Bundesliga) in March 2023 and also has a majority stake in Genoa CFC (Serie A TIM), Standard de Liège (Jupiler Pro League) and Red Star FC (National 1). This multi-club strategy developed by 777 Partners will create "significant synergies through access to world-class data and analytics, player development and global commercial opportunities," explained Everton FC.
